S & S Packaging history:

S & S Packaging Products Inc. was founded by Dale Stuart. Dale had 25+ years in the corrugated box industry working his way up from a machine operator, to foreman, designer/estimator and finally to sales person. He saw the need for protective packaging in the regional Erie area furniture industry. In 1985 he began to build his own custom machinery to produce it. Starting in a barn in Meadville, Pennsylvania, S & S soon outgrew its space and moved to the city of Meadville in 1988. There the business grew to provide its customers with pre-formed inner packaging.

S & S soon realized that there was a customer need for small qty, quick turn around corrugated boxes. Moving to the city of Erie, Pennsylvania, the business bought several machines to be able to produce small quantities of corrugated boxes.

In the early 90’s, growth continued and S & S had its first building built in Cranesville, Pennsylvania. Growth has continued to this day and S & S is one of the only area companies that can custom produce all of its products.
